Founded in 2006, MEDCOACH is an international consulting, training and project management firm focusing on patients´ safety and patients´ orientated process optimization of medical treatment in the preclinical and clinical area.

Based in Vienna (Austria), MEDCOACH acts on a global level. Our clients profit not only from our professional competency but also from long term international and multicultural experience and corresponding specific knowledge.

MEDCOACH bundles profound medical knowledge and expertise with professional process competency in the medical surroundings and long term, international consulting experience.

The medical sector is one of the most complex leading to different challenges and client´s needs with each new project. MEDCOACH therefore appoints individual teams for each client involving the experts exactly needed for the given task and the regional and cultural background.

Christian Schreiber

Christian Schreiber, Master of Business Engineering from the University of Technology in Vienna, is the founder and General Manager of MEDCOACH. He has gained several years of experience in the worldwide consulting company Accenture and famous international companies like Siemens and Porsche. He also headed the training department of Volkswagen in Austria before he founded his own consulting and training company called medcoach in 2006.

We are committed to create sustainable value for our clients and take a long-term view on our business relationships, striving to build bonds with our clients founded on competency, respect, honesty and personal involvement.

Passion for emergency medical  service

Since about 20 years Christian Schreiber has been working as a volunteer in a major Austrian emergency medical and ambulance service. From trained paramedic to certified instructor of all levels of preclinical emergency medical aid, from operational room dispatcher to organizational chief of rescue operations he has covered nearly all functions in a medical emergency service. Since 2010 he is also vice head of the medical emergency and ambulance service of St. John Ambulance and still on weekly duty on an emergency medical unit in Vienna.

Between 2006 and 2009 Christian Schreiber has spent long time in the Middle East for medical consulting projects focusing on patient safety and patients´ orientated process optimization of medical treatment in the preclinical and clinical area.

In 2010 and in cooperation with a long term business partner with Arabic background, medctm® has been founded to provide a competent consulting and coaching platform for medical companies entering the market of the Middle East.

The expert team, led by Dr. Michael Hüpfl, includes specialized physicians from the Medical University of Vienna. Dr. Hüpfl, a senior anesthesiologist and former Chief Physician of St. John Ambulance, is renowned in Austria for medical simulation. He directs the medical simulation group at the University Clinic of Vienna and has trained many physicians and medical staff in European Resuscitation Council® (ERC) courses across Austria.

M.D. Michael Hüpfl is one of the top international expert for preclinical and clinical emergency medicine, having  published in "The Lancet", Volume 376, Issue 9752.

Simon Schupp

Simon Schupp, Master of Business Administration, is a Senior Consultant focused on company building & business development. 

Our business and medical consultants focusing on strategy, process optimization and on-site project management provide our clients state-of-the-art solutions. They are constantly involved in every medical business, from developing overall strategies to improve nationwide medical emergency systems, to on-site implementation of new processes and structures. Ongoing quality management is implemented to ensure long term success.

Quality is one of the top priorities for MEDCOACH. Therefore all our trainers are certified by international organizations like European Resuscitation Council © (ERC) and have high training development competency and experience as well as regular practical exercise with in-class trainings.

Our Competence Center for Patient Safety (CCPS) bundles highly reputable experts specializing in critical incident reporting systems and risk analysis and risk management.
